We had a trial run this morning, Wednesday, March 18th. We walked along Oso Creek Trail.
We started at our meeting point "It's a Grind" Coffee at Marguerite and Estanciero. Parking was a bit of a problem.. so many people had the same idea this morning. I parked in the Trader Joe's parking lot on the Marguerite side... took 1 minute to walk over to our meeting point.
The trail starts just behind Del Taco. We walked for a bit and suddenly I felt like I was in another world. You hear the creek below at your right, the birds were chirping, lizards hurridly crossing our path, shady spots abounded to help us out. It was beautiful. It's an easy trail for people who are wanting to "start up" getting in shape, but it is perfect for the power walkers too..just hilly enough to give you a work out! I pushed Brennan in a jogging stroller and he loved it too!
We will be doing this walk every Wednesday morning! I will be there!! I will wait in front of "It's a Grind" for a bit to see if I have any walking mates, which would be wonderful!

SO... all of you Walking Women, Would Be Walking Women if You Had Women to Walk With, or those thinking about Walking. Won't you join us? Invite your friends!!
We will walk and head back to It's a Grind and if anyone would like to stop for an iced coffee or a smoothie, we can take some time for that too! It's a good place to sit and relax for a bit!!
