We were completely honored and blessed to have been given the opportunity to hold our effect gathering in this beautiful place! We were pampered and catered and we are thankful! (Thank you Greg, who took care of setting this all up for us.. and thank you Bob!)The atmosphere was so nice. The view of and beyond our worship team was incredible! The children, all 13 of them, played outside on a deck, overlooking passing boats, and playing games!
The messages and the sharing among Bob Beauchamp and Dave Brisbin and the gathering crowd were inspiring! The most heartfelt thoughts and moments were shared and taken to heart. I got there feeling like I didn't know many people, but left feeling like I had a few more friends and a little more family!
I just want to say, that some of us come to gatherings, meetings, parties...feeling "less than" & we are convinced that we are the only one that feels that way. Well, we are all human.. and even the most distinguished person next to you might be feeling "less than" today. We are not all so different. I hope here, at theeffect, we can celebrate the differences and the things we do share. Let the barriers down and connect. That is all God asks of us. To love Him and to love each other. (& according to the gospel of Lou .. have a little fun along the way!)
The children were completely taken care of, once again, by Megan Grace and Serenity Whorley! You girls rock! The kids adore you!

Our children and their teachers!! Megan, Serenity and the whole gang!Next week, we will have crafts for the kids and more games for them to play! We are just getting our feet wet and so many plans are in the works! The kids "are" a priority here with us!
