A BEAUTIFUL DAY FOR A BAPTISM

There is one body, and one Spirit, even as you are called in one hope of your calling; One Lord, one faith, one baptism, One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all. Ephesians 4:4-5

Hi everyone,

For those of you who were with us at our Gathering Sunday before last, 4/20/08, you know we had the privilege of baptising Matt Crocker and Ron Dragoo--our first official effect baptizees. At our unique location at the Harbor, we were able to just walk over to the protected "Baby" beach and talk about baptism and pray and then walk out into the water.

We presented Matt and Ron with their baptismal certificates at our Tuesday night Gathering and played a slideshow movie of the event created by Jim Whelpley, who shot all these photos. As a result, we had seven more people come up to us and ask to be baptised as well!

So Sunday after next, May 11--yes that's Mothers' Day--we'll be having a mass baptism (not a baptism Mass), and you're all invited to be with us to celebrate both Mothers' Day and at least 7 baptisms. And if you would like to be baptised as well that day, or any day, just let us know, and we'll make the arrangements.
