When Dave told me we were having baptisms on Mother's Day, I thought it would not be a good day to do this. Dana Point Harbor was going to be streaming with people wanting to take their mother's to lunch/brunch. It was going to be hard to find parking for church. I thought it would be too rushed. Then there was the weather. It was cold! But, once again, the Lord showed me in the most loving way that His plans are not my plans and His ways are not my ways, and if I would just go along for the ride I would see that He has everything worked out for the best! :o) .. It turned out to be one of the most beautiful baptisms I have witnessed. There was just so much love and so many smiles on that little beach. The prayers were heartfelt and you could see the love of God's Spirit resting on those that got baptized that day, as well as with the baptizers :o) ... Do you see Bill Frey's smile!? That is how we all felt that morning. It was a wonderful Mother's Day!
Much love to Mark Roos and Tony Salas for witnessing their love of God and for the sharing of their joy and transformation with each and every one of us!
Blessings to all!
